Lighting Layout Process
At Spark, we know lighting! We’ll work with you to find the appropriate type of lighting style for the rooms you’re brightening up. Our electricians can help you develop a vision and a layout. With our expert input, we can guide you through the different types of fixtures you should use in any scenario. Whether you’re planning an interior recessed lighting project or an outdoor lamp post project, we can help!
Once we determine what kind of lighting you are going to use, we’ll develop a real blueprint for you. When you’re ready to move forward with the installations, you are able to visualize the lighting layout on paper and approve it.
Lastly, if you would like, we will make a template of your ceiling to show you exactly where each light is going to be installed and you can make your final adjustments. We take our time and get it right, because that’s what you deserve when you hire Spark!
Interior Lighting
No Overhead Lights: Many homes in New Hampshire are not equipped with overhead lighting. The minimal code requires only a switch controlled outlet in any room to turn on a lamp. We get thousands of clients a year who want to simply add a ceiling fan to a bedroom where a light fixture does not currently exist. This is a very common process and we are happy to install your fan!
Recessed Lighting Selection: Much of our lighting product line provides a selectable color spectrum. You can select and change the color spectrum of the lighting from cool to warm. Our lighting is also easily dimmable, allowing you to control the brightness as well. With the selectable spectrum and dimmable LED lighting you can really set the lighting tone you’re looking for. If you need bright and purposeful lighting for working or warm and soft lighting for relaxing we can do it all!
Too High To Reach: Many of our clients homes have either high foyer ceilings with a chandelier or ceilings in a great room that have a fan or light they can not reach. We have a specialty lift to meet these needs. We do not need to come and charge you to assemble a massive staging in your home. We have a light-weight motorized aluminum man-lift basket that is assembled in-place by 2 electricians in less than 5 minutes. We can reach ceilings of 21’ or more with this lift.
Outdoor Lighting
Landscape Lighting: We carry high end low voltage lighting product lines to accent your landscaping. We can illuminate a specific tree, a flower bed, groups of mulch beds or a rock wall, and have all of your lighting controlled by your phone!
Post Lighting: We install hundreds of light posts a year. Spark has a proven process of trenching, setting poles in concrete, and installing smart switches to set schedules and control your lighting. We can even provide you with granite light posts and install those as well!
Exterior Home Accents: We use two different methods to illuminate the architectural curves of your home. Recessed down-lighting in your soffit is a great way to cast light down the front of your home. We also have stake lights that install in the ground for up-lighting to project illumination from the bottom of your house to accent your home’s lines and beauty.
